Dr. Carmen Stone
“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” ― Mark Twain
Hello! I’m Carmen, an experienced learning and development professional. I specialize in crafting effective learning experiences. My forte lies in customizing learning solutions for various groups, employing adult learning principles and instructional design techniques to bridge performance gaps. I enjoying helping people and organizations perform at their highest potential, while also finding fulfillment and joy in continuous improvement.
My journey started in the U.S. Army, where I used technology to enhance learning. Moving into education, I taught and mentored learners from diverse backgrounds. As a successful small business owner, I provided educational support to underserved communities, ensuring accessible learning for all.
My focus is on developing innovative resources that drive organizational excellence. Collaborating with subject matter experts, I design tailored learning paths to enhance knowledge retention and career growth. I utilize educational design theory, adult learning theory, and ADDIE and SAM models to quickly close performance gaps and solve pain points.
Outside of work, I enjoy every moment and seek adventure. I’m currently working towards my private pilot license and relishing every moment of it! I also explore the globe and spend time with family and friends, creating many happy memories.
